Joe Gagne’s Funtime Pro Wrestling Arcade – EPISODE 1: NES Pro Wrestling

by on May 24, 2011

Introducing a new feature to the website: Joe Gagne’s Funtime Pro Wrestling Arcade! Each episode, Joe reviews a retro pro wrestling video game with the charm and quirk you’ve come to know from his sensational podcast Joe Vs. The World. On the inaugural episode, Joe takes a look at Pro Wrestling from the NES. From Starman to King Corn Karn and everyone/everything in-between, Joe leaves no stone unturned in his quest to let you know whether Pro Wrestling is worth another quarter in the arcade machine!

  1. Brilliant commentary/editing here (and good to hear Joe talking about anything wrestling related — his podcast is missed).

Will have to load up Pro Wrestling on the NES emulator tonight and play it. Also, I kind of liked NES Baseball, but in 1986/7 it wasn’t like you had a lot of choices (and it sure beat my Atari baseball game).

Here’s also hoping you get a lot of use of that “king corn karn” blog tag…
