We celebrate our thirtieth episode of Mike & Tom Present… with not one, but TWO road reports!

This weekend, we had the American independent scene covered (well, except for those Guerrilla guys…), as first we begin with Tom with his pal and everyone else’s, Nick Maniwa, as they were at the Insanity Pro Wrestling event in Indianapolis! During this half, they got to talk about some of the up-and-coming stars and hidden gems of the Midwestern independent scene, as well as a Dave Crist/Jimmy Jacobs match for the IPW Heavyweight Title, the continued improvement of Louis Lyndon, and what Nick has in common with Rob Naylor! Also, IPW star Tripp Cassidy and IPW owner Mike Williams stop by to say hi!

Then, we trek up to Pennsylvania, as Mike brings us into the car with himself, Tom Richards and Joey! They went to both the Westside Xtreme Wrestling afternoon show and CZW’s Best of the Best! During this portion they mostly cover Best of the Best, as we find out how Joey REALLY feels about Akuma, Brandon Gatson being a chill dude, Daisuke Sekimoto’s greatness and hugeness, Samoa Joe: high flier, their thoughts on the Moxley/Scrawny Shawny spot, Sami Callihan’s ascent to becoming the biggest star in CZW, and more!

Approximate Time: 53 minutes.

We hope you join us again later this week, as we’ll be joined by both Leonard F. Chikarason and one-third of the BDK trio at Chikara’s King of Trios event this weekend (April 15-17), Tim Donst to preview the big six-man tournament in Philadelphia!
